Your brokerage is not a set of departments. It is one operating system.

I work with brokerage owners and executive teams to evaluate the business as a whole, find what is quietly costing them money, and hand leadership a prioritized roadmap for what to fix first.

The problem

Every growing brokerage develops blind spots.

Complexity accumulates quietly. Departments drift into silos. Software gets bought and never fully used. Processes that worked at forty agents start to break at a hundred and forty. Leadership gets consumed by execution and stops seeing the whole.

None of that shows up as a single problem you can point at. It shows up as margin you cannot explain, agents who leave without telling you why, and decisions that take too long because nobody has the full picture.

An outside executive perspective gives you the view your team cannot get from inside it.

What I evaluate

Eleven areas, assessed as one system.

I do not evaluate departments in isolation. I look at how they affect each other, because that is where the expensive problems live.

  • Leadership
  • Operations
  • Technology ecosystem
  • AI readiness
  • Compliance and risk
  • Recruiting and onboarding
  • Agent experience
  • Financial workflows
  • Communication
  • Scalability
  • Strategic direction

Going further

The full brokerage assessment.

The Snapshot is deliberately narrow. When leadership wants the complete picture, the full assessment covers all eleven areas and ends in a prioritized roadmap your executive team can actually execute against.

It is scoped and priced after we talk, because the right depth depends on your size, your structure, and what you are preparing for. Most brokerages come to it after a Snapshot.

I do not advocate for one brokerage model. Whether the answer is staying independent, expanding, white labeling, acquiring, merging, or preparing to sell, my job is to help you see clearly enough to choose.

Who this is for

Brokerage leaders who know the business is changing.

The business model matters less than whether leadership actually wants to improve.

About

Katherine Rzad

I have spent my career inside brokerage operations rather than adjacent to them. I have served as a licensed managing and principal broker across multiple states, opened new markets, built compliance infrastructure from nothing, and led expansion for organizations operating across state lines.

That range is the reason I see systems instead of departments. When you have written the policy manual, run the licensing, supervised the files, chosen the software, and recruited the agents, you stop seeing those as separate problems. You start seeing how one causes the next.

I am not a consultant hired to fix one department. I am an independent advisor to the people running the business.

  • Licensed managing and principal broker, multiple states
  • Author of four state brokerage policy and procedure manuals
  • MBA, and fifteen years in sales and business development leadership
  • AI adoption training for real estate licensees
